Members sunburstbasser
This is my high school band director's college trombone teacher. I'm sure he doesn't have trouble getting gigs! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSwI9Off-iI
Members IndofunkCity
At first I thought this was going to be a trombone joke. Then it looked like it wasn't. Then I realized, yes, yes it is!

Members rhat
I think if i were a trombone player ,, i would get with a couple other horn players and put together a horn section... then go looking for a band as a total horn section. If you shop yourselves around as a turn key horn section ,,, you should hit paydirt pretty easy. Rockbands tend to not know much about horn sections ,, but there is a big market for them in blues and motown type bands. 3 or 4 horn players could pretty well write their ticket if they worked up the horn parts to alot of that old music. You may even be able to play for multiple bands and keep very busy . rat

I've thought about doing this myself, if I got myself up to speed on sax. I think that, if the rates were right, you could even get session work in the sort of backwater where I live.
