  1. My favorite neck of all time is on my Wildwood Select Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s. It's a classic full C neck that fits my large hands well, it's very comfortable to play (neither slim nor a baseball bat), and remains relatively fast. Now, I find myself in need of a Floyd-Rose (or comparable) equipped guitar, but I'm not aware of any that aren't thinner "shredder" necks, which are way too thin for me. I'd love to find one with a fuller C neck, even better if it has a relatively wide fingerboard. Any recommendations?
  2. 24.7" single cut dual humbucker guitars with a three way switch, 2 vol/2 tone knob tune-o-matic bridge and 3x3 tuner guitars are great. they sound solid, feel solid. Some of them have lousy heels that are bothersome but they are easy to play on your lap. As far as price - the Gibson and PRS versions are very pricey but others are reasonable. I like them as one of my guitars in my arsenal My '77 Guild S-300D is my favorite of the type. It's just a dynamite guitar
  3. I thought the Guild S-300 series was sort of odd looking back in the '80s when I was first introduced to them. Now that I've decided that they are the best playing and sounding electric I've ever owned (after owning numerous top quality guitars), the looks have grown on me big time.
