  1. Ok so this is one thing that I have found out and don't really understand. Firewire has a transfer rate of 400 Mbps while USB 2.0 has a transfer rate of 480 Mbps. Most newer USB interfaces are 2.0 too aren't they? So again why is firewire so superior to USB 2.0? Sorry I'm not doubting anything anyone has said, just trying to understand it.
  2. Ok, so I have a question it may be dumb I don't know, that's why I am asking. I understand that USB interfaces only allow you to track 2 seperate tracks and firewire more (I don't know how many). So what is the purpose of a firewire interface (like say the behringer F-control) that only has 2 inputs? Couldn't you just use USB?
