Greeting members My bandmate and I have finally collected enough tunes to release our first album, Dawn over Folkvang, on Soundcloud. Everything is made in Reason 11 Suite + a dozen third party REs/VSTis + samples from Polivoks, Deepmind 6, Korg Prophecy and MC909 + an old accoustic guitar with pick up. Recording gear is too low end to mention. A garage production it is. We combine elements from Electronic music with classical music and Nordic folk music. Greeting Harmony Central We have just joined this forum and wanted to introduce ourselves, Tribe of Hofund is a medieval/folk inspired electronic duo that consists of Gothi (synthesizers) and Peter Siegmund Wildling (guitars) from Denmark. We find inspiration in the voices of our ancestors in form of Nordic mythology and religion. We make use of accoustic guitar, synthesizers and samplers. We use Reason 11 Suite witth various REs and VSTis as well as a load of samles from our hardware. We try to combine our training and interests in classical and mundane music of the past with the electronic sound of present and future. We use even as well as odd, compound and polyrythmic meters and various composition techniques often inspired by renaissance and pagan polyphony. We look forward to meet you and not at least hear your doings in the music subforum as well as share our own. Here is the first tune we made a year ago. It is the intro to our newly released album "Dawn over Folkvang" (which really is a soundcloud playlist, but "album" sounds better😇 ). Hope you enjoy.
