Hello!
I saw a thread about a popping sound while gettin too much signal in the Diamond Vibrato (I think some other pedals had the same issue) - I'm experiencing the same problem with some of my instruments but I do love the pedal and want to keep using it. Can you help what mod is needed?
I've read its the compander overloading which happened in their pedals for some time and they used to mod it to get rid of that issue.
There was a guy @awallace who offered the mod instructions to be emailed but hes no longer connected with diamond as the company is out of bussiness.
I can't get in touch with him or get any help in the old threads hence Im trying to find help here.
Is there anyone who received the mod instructions and could share it?
I can only hope someone will appear here and forward that information one more time... and save one more diamond pedal from being shelved!
P.s.
Apparently they fixed it in later production people say but mine is s/n 0023 which seems pretty early
