I just bought a FG 331 but the upper 3 steel strings hurt my fingers and I don't plan on playing enough to warrant building up the pads on those fingers. Once upon a time I had a guitar with nylon for the 3 upper strings and metal for the lower three. What do you think about replacing the top three with nylon? I know this isn't a question for the purist but I'm not. Any suggestions? Thanks.
