I am so very disappointed with CD Baby now. They used to really provide services to independent artists. It's all passive income to them now. My biggest complaint is that I still have a (very limited) amount of actual disc sales. I learned that they supply Amazon. So, if i don't have disc sale within a three month period, they notify me to have me pay for return of their stock, OR to have them destroy it, leaving their stock at zero. Then, if I have a sale, they ask ME to SEND stock to them AGAIN!!. So basically *I am the distributor* and pay postage to send discs to CDBaby, then they send to the purchaser. Double the transit cost, and for this they take a part of my sale! It is really scandalous. I'm going to have to just bow out of physical disk distribution which really pisses me off.
