I know these questions are all over the net but I’d like some better insight into the particular gear I’m using-
Ive got an Ampeg SS140C that I usually just run into a Peavey 412M cabinet. Yesterday I picked up a Behringer BG412S and I’d like play out of both cabs in a live setting. The Behringer has 2 inputs and a switch for mono/stereo, whereas the Peavey just has a single input with no other info on it.
Using the two inputs on the Ampeg head on the DRY side (one for INT speaker and one for EXT speaker), can I run a cable to the Behringer in mono for the full 400w (I think they’re 8ohm speakers), connected to the INT input, and also run the Peavey out of the EXT input (I think those are 16ohm speakers)? Do I need to switch the Behringer to stereo? Can I even run both cabs together with the Ampeg at all?
