You still have this amp up for sale?

Long story short... I posted a Nashville tele deluxe in mint condition for sale on Reverb. Today I get a message that a girl wants to buy it for her husbands birthday. I say fine and give her the total. 860.00 with a brand new hard case. I send her applepay request, she pays it. Transfer the money into my account and start doing a cleanup and boxup on said Tele.. Then I see that the shipping address is not the same as the billing address. So i question her about it. She tells me that she wants the guitar to be a surprise so she has put it on her friends credit card so there's no trail that he can see. I tell her that I dont feel warm and fuzzy about that without talking to the owner of the card. She tells me she will have the owner email me tomorrow before I ship. Now what's weird is, the money is already in my account and I should be covered through applepay if there was something weird go down. what do ya'll think?

I have come into some nice poplar slabs and want to try my hand at a tele build. What i would like to do is give it a "sandblasted" type of effect. Its my understanding that its tough without having an actual sand blaster and walnut shell powder. I have heard about some doing the effect with a sander or dremmel trype tool. Anyone do a build like that? or maybe well versed in milkpaint? Below is what I'm shooting for...

Alpine white nashville telecaster deluxe for sale. vintage noiseless pups, maple neck. Guitar is flawless and plays great. I have 4 tele's and 2 strats so I'm just thinning the herd. I haven't thought to much about it but, I may consider a trade for a good tube amp in the VOX type flavor. Let me know if you need more pics. The best (and only) one I have done, was SOLO out of Canada. They are hard to find sometimes due to being out of stock, but they just replenished and have some great products. I did a strat style in daphine blue. They would definitely be a company I'd check out and buy from again.

I totally agree with Daddymack. Check the cheap easy fixes first. Cable seems likely, and next would be a loose jack. Good luck and Let us know what you find!
