    Hi there, Has anyone played both Epiphone Emperor ii Joe Pass and Godin 5th Ave Kingpin ii CW HB and can comment on comparing the tone? I’m trying to buy one that has a more typical hollow body tone for mellow jazz work. I heard YouTube for Joe Pass that sounded that way but for 5th Ave HB sounded more electric (didn’t hear influence of acoustic woodiness on the tone as much). Is this the finding of your too? I try to avoid a multipurpose axe because I have other guitars for other styles, just classic jazz tone nothing else. I appreciate your input. Thanks. AB
