  1. Among other things is the sunset thread. Or I did not read and comprehend like a civilized man, which is entirely possible. I’ve used a brass saddle, but all that bouncing, you’d really need brass nuts, one brass nut wouldn’t do. baDUMbump.
  2. It’ll be fun! They need strong opinions here at the Acoustic Guitar forum. (just don’t mention brass nuts..)
  3. As the only one-time poster on a zombie thread that actually stayed to converse about guitars, and let me offer that you sound...er..”sound”, there’s a thread that needs your input, “the Sun is setting” thread. It’s about crying for the “old times”, how moderation has ruined the flow, and laments the fact there are no newbies. Please, as someone with newbie status, put your .02 in on it. In the land of the blind, the one eyed man gets to watch the chicks in the shower, or something like that...😁
  4. Nah, I have no love for woodworking, a pretty good eye for aesthetics, but not for creating them. Plus, absolutely no room for tools, seriously. The basement isn’t really a “basement” but for a small utility room crammed with the usual suspects, and Gibsonette owns the 1 car garage, not even 1-½ car.. But hey, retirement is a short while away. Maybe start small, like a nylon string fretless gourd banjo!
  5. Luthiery remains a mystery to me. Bending sides..magical trickery!
  6. Oh no, manners not me, me rude, manners other man. That’s a nice looking guitar you built, those tops are special. Great inlays too. About 45 years ago, I had a Guild guitar with some bearclaw, and thought it was a defect.. Stupid kids.
  7. I know! 3! He might have a fourth. And possibly your welcome will have done that, and it cost you nothing. C’mon @jmcclure ! No, seriously, aside from the begging, it’s a cool place. And by the looks of things, you’ll get in on the ground floor! 🙂 Ok, I’m done, you guys enjoy your silence and one-upsmanship.
  8. Oh, yeah...er...welcome to... Nah, you’ll be back or you won’t. Friendly welcomes, if you’ve bothered reading, do absolutely nothing, but you did post twice! So, c’mon man, these guys are desperate for conversation!
  9. Sez you, you’re just use to it 😆. That back is pretty...spooktacular (someone had to say it.)!
  10. Spooooky back! Perfect Halloween guitar, what’s the front like?
  11. Who are you, and why did you wake me?
  12. So, I just did a Google search for “angelica guitar“ and came up with a bunch of pages. Not that you’ll ever post again, but did you? Seriously, check out this forum’s topics. Most are 10 year old threads dredged up by 1st time posters who never post again. There’s good info here, but it’s getting very odd. Below, someone will welcome you to the forum.
  13. Huh. All I get are Sweetwater ads. The Zager algorithm is strong in you! 😄
  14. Howdy!  {censored} off!  Or not, enjoy whether you’re an asshole or not!

Asshole didn’t get censored, but f*ck off did!  Weird!

  15. Not as good as a Zager. Disclosure: every time I mention Zager on a forum, they send .35 cents to a dog rescue. So that’s .70 whole cents just for twice mentioning Zager in a sentence! 1.05 now! What a wholesome company Zager is (1.40) while being all Zagery! (1.75) 😊
  16. Gotta love the new forum software when it lets you know how long it took for a response, but above “Coach Bill” post, it would be cooler if it said “....meanwhile, NINE YEARS LATER!” and it would be audible in a dramatic voice.
  17. I haven’t seen a Zager ad, thread in any other guitar forum, or heard talk of Zager, well, anywhere, since this thread was started 12 years ago. Is Zager still in business, and is this the only guitar forum that occasionally gets trolled with them?
  18. Der der der.  Dur dur dyr.
    der.

  19. Umm..fix it with a new nut and saddle?
  20. They’ve got me curious to hear a before and after. Tone, intonation, the whole ball, otherwise it’s just gewgaws to separate me from my money. Well, to be fair, it ALL is after all is said and done
  21. Any reso players? It’s aluminum, doesn’t that metal suck for tone? Inquiring minds want to know! Nice to see some innovation on old stuff. At least the saddle’s intonated. And easier action adjustments if I’m reading the spec right. https://www.nationalguitars.com/product-page/revolution-biscuit-bridge-base
  22. I play the guitar and don’t think non-humans should have public funding for guitar lessons.  Stop the waste by eliminating non-human guitar lessons NOW!

  23. And played, so it was sort of a necessary tweak. Lazy.
