  1. I have never played much plugins before, so this is very new to me. Usually, I would play rock / metal music through my EVH 5150 iii which I've been pretty happy with over the years. The drawback was mainly when I wanted to practice at low volume at night not wanting to disturb the neighbours, or when I recorded during which I really need to hit the volume hard to let the tone come out of the amp. Those problems were resolved by Neural DSP essentially. It's so easy to plug-in and play and I can play it out of my computer's speakers or through a headphone without waking anyone up. Also, the recording process was just so smooth because i don't need to worry about noise in the house that would mess up the recording, or inconsistent placement of the mic in case someone accidentially bumps into them. And the tone? I think it sounds pretty good - here is a sample with the high gain lead preset (i just dialed the delay / reverb slightly down from the default settings as I like them to be more subtle): Let me know what you guys think
