Hey everyone, I'm debating between these two models of Gotoh tuners for a custom guitar build. I'm wondering, are the 510s really better than the 301s? The 301s are the old standard that many builders such as Benedetto and Collings still use, but the 510s are considered the "premium" line. Other than the 510s having a 21:1 gear ratio as opposed to the 301s 18:1, is there really much of a difference? Are the 510s actually better and more reliable, or just higher gear ratio? Please let me know what you all think! It's been hard to find direct comparisons online.

Maybe you should look into PRP, since repeated cortisone injections can have some bad side effects, as I'm sure you know. Not totally sure if they do PRP for hands, but worth a look!

PRP is where they take some of your blood, separate the platelets from the white and red blood cells, and then inject the platelets back into your injured/painful areas. It is supposed to help your body heal chronic wounds.

Any musicians had PRP injections into your shoulders, elbows, or neck? If so, what was your experience? How did it affect your dexterity and pain level/your ability to play music?

But were any of those models set neck? Or all bolt on?

It is in the same spot as on the bolt on necks, just no pickguard. It sits inside the space after the 22nd fret. Here is a picture of a similar set up:

Anyone have any experience with the spoke wheel truss rod access at heel in set neck guitars? I've seen it but it seems rare. Considering it for a build and would like to know others' experience with it. All thoughts welcome!

Hello everyone, does anyone here know the exact scale length of the 2014 Gibson Les Paul Traditional (with the 120th Anniversary banner on the 12th fret)? I had one that I sold a couple years ago, and now I wish I had measured the exact scale length because I'm gathering specs for a custom build. The 24.75 scale length on the Gibson website is inaccurate, as they are never actually that. My guess is that it is either 24.625 or 24.594, or something else! If anyone has that model currently, I would appreciate it very much if you could get that measurement for me!
