  1. Wow, I learned a lot from that link! I would have definately been wasting my money if i bought one of those external audio interfaces AND internal soundcards. They both have their own DACs... etc... I think that i am going to go with the M-Audio Audiophile 192, because it has a highersample rate of 192 KHz than the others, the price is much lower, it has all the connectors i need, and the PCI interface is the fastest out of all of them. I only have one more question. Can i use The Audiophile in combination with another PCI sound card? ...I still want my 5.1 sound!!! Thanx, Adam
  2. Hello everyone, I'm just now getting into the realm of recording, but mostly through MIDI. I have Reason 3.0 and Cubase SX 3. Being a guitar player, it is essential for me to be able to record my musical ideas with my guitar. So, I've been looking at a few audio interface devices. They are all roughly the same price, so I'm thinking really hard to which one I should get. The products under consideration are the following: Tascam US-122 M-Audio Fast Track Pro M-Audio FireWire Solo I will probably use one of the above in combination with an (M-Audio) Audiophile 192 or a Delta 1010LT PCI card. I'm not sure which one of these would be the most practical for me. I will also be using a MIDI keyboard controller, so MIDI I/O is a must. Can anyone help me out? Experiences with any of these products? Suggestions?
