Lots of people love the firebox and firepod, but both of these are also out of your price range. You may want to consider getting a used unit, but this is slightly risky. yup. bingo. i have a us122. have not had the latency problem but i'm not triggering samples yet. just recording in. i got for under$150 so for that it is definitely worth it.
