  1. Does Tracktion come with any built in tutorial videos....? Cheers Johnny:)
  2. I would use one of the free programs like Audicity first, just to get used to multi-tracking. Then go and buy one of the upper-class programs. Im using Sonar 4 and think its great. Ive used Cubase also, and it is somewhat similar. So my vote would be Sonar or Cubase after using audicity for awile Thanks for the info, I've downloaded Audacity & Reaper and playing around with their demo songs, both seem user freindly at the moment..... Will any half decent interfaces run most software, such as MBox, M-Audio, Mackie, Lexicon and so on....? Cheers:)
  3. Another vote for Tracktion. I was making keeper tracks for my album minutes after installing it. Good stuff. What interface are you using.....? Cheers Johnny
  4. Have a look at Mackie Tracktion.....Hey this looks a nice piece of software indeed, looks real simple to use....
  5. Thanks for the info everyone, justed downloaded reaper but will also consider the other options. I'm currently trying to decide what interface to use also, was looking at the M-Audio Black Box....? Cheers:)
  6. Can anyone give me an idea of a good starter "Home Recording software package" for a first timer, I just want to do guitars, bass, vocals and maybe get some drum software also. Its just to use for songwriting ideas, no album production just the basics...... I've been looking at the following: Ableton Cubase Pro Tools Sonar Cakewalk Can anyone shine any light on these or others please....? Cheers Johnny
