Actually, I think the Triple XXX cab with, I'm assuming, triple X speakers sounded incredible with the JSX head when I first played one. A great pair that sounded far better than the JSX through my vintage 30's at home and at practice.

holy {censored}! I can't picture ever needing that much power behind me. 2 guitars running 100 tube watts each is killing my ears at practice and on stage as it is. my home rig, a Mesa 2:100 runs at most 1/4 open on the volume for both channels.

must be getting old.
