  1. Fear not, this guy has trolled five different forums here in very short order.
  2. Actually, I've heard claims that the reverse tilt of the bridge PU and the strings have some sort of influence. I can't really argue, just as I would not question Brad Paisley when he says that an Esquire has different tone because there is no routing for the neck PU. I just feel fortunate to be here when an alt went down.
  3. I loved that documentary about John Lennon's portable jukebox. Not sure how the stars aligned to put these four brilliant artists together, but views like these into their lives gives us a glimpse of their regular, human journeys through an incredible high energy world.
  4. I heard it first in the frat house living room, played on one of those crappy console stereos. Still, it was amazing.
  5. No recording for me lately, but I like the addition of a Nashville tuned guitar. I buy a set of twelve string guitar strings, put the low strings on my Martin and the higher ones on my Ovation. Yeah I'm kind oF cheap some times. Played together, they have a twelve string-like sound. Panning them a bit is kind of shimmery.
  6. Our drummer made the world his kit. Miss him every day.
  7. Now I understand, a baritone sax is just a tenor that has taken enlargement pills.
  8. Floyd Cramer - "Last Date" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3fRkoa9Ek5c
  9. "Joe's Garage" - Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention
  10. "Radio, Radio" - Elvis Costello https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOWwN3T2xkc
  11. I know Dale Evens wrote "Happy Trails to You", a song that seems part of my DNA. Her guitar playing didn't really influence me.
  12. "Mercy, Mercy, Mercy" - Cannonball Adderley Quintet
  13. "I Can't Help Falling in Love with You" - Elvis Presley
  14. "Stop That Train" - Bob Marley and the Wailers [video=youtube;gBtj-zj0C5o]
  15. I keep looking for a capo for my keys and harmonica, but nada.
  16. I can't contribute any wisdom about the harmonizer, but I'm glad to know you play trumpet. Do you play it regularly at a gig? I haven't gigged for a long time, so it's hard to keep myself in shape to play. I do go to jams and play, but I'm only good for a few minutes before my lip dies.
