  1. It didn't work the first time I tried it (in Chrome) but it worked in Firefox.
  2. The pickup selector switch on mine kept going bad and the volume/tone pots had a pretty poor taper. I swapped out all of the electronics and put in Burstbucker Pros. They're a bit on the bright side in mine but the tone pots control that very well.

  4. I would try to find a used Fender Mustang 1 at GC or on Craigslist. I'd be willing to bet you could score one for $50. I bought one new for $100 and it sounds great with headphones. You can program a bunch of models, it has an aux port so you can play along to backing tracks, and you can do direct recording. The mini amps such as the Roland, Fender, or Vox are also light, inexpensive, and have much of the same functionality of the Mustang 1.

  7. I've got GarageBand on my iPad but I believe you can put it on the iPhone as well. Just picked up the Apogee Jam. All the reviews point to it delivering better quality than the iRig. Gonna give it a test run today.
