I own 9 Les Pauls (70's,80's,90's,00's) My 2 favorite guitars are a '74 Custom and a '75 Deluxe. Been playing guitar for 25yrs. When set up properly these guitars are amazing (imo) I think the 70's Les Pauls get a bad rap because of the pancake body.
