    hey guys,


    so I'm tired of endlessly searching for THAT guitar that has the tone I really love, because every time I think I find it, I buy that guitar and then decide that there are better sounding guitars out there like 6 months later.


    so, any tips on improving the tone or just overall sound of the guitar? I'm talking specific brands of strings, getting a new nut, changing the string pegs, ANYTHING!!

    Fishing line makes great guitar strings and its cheaper too !

     

    when a string breaks you can always tie a couple of broken ones together - saves a lot of hard earned cash

     

    Buy a Taylor - especially a new one with the Quality fingerjoint on the neck- saves Taylor alot of money and you too !

     

    you can wrap your guitar in a plastic garbage bag and it makes a great slig for over your shoulder and carry bag ( you dont even need a case any more ), for traveling with your D-45

     

    paint your guitar with spray paint ,thats what all the big stars do !
