How do you know that they aren't going to be playing what you call "wankery" on the guitar/amp they are looking at buying when they get it home, and thus that's why they do that when they try it out? Personally, I like music stores that have seperate rooms that I can go in to try out gear. This allows me to play whatever I want without upsetting this latest generation of kids that only see guitar as a rhythm instrument.
