whereas i thought vocals through the firepod were unusable, ive found with a bit of tweaking and layering, i've gotten useable sounds with the firestudio. nothing that would trump my RNP, but this is definitely a step in the right direction. nice job presonus.
I am not sure what you are talking about. I have been using a presounus fire pod for about 2 months now, and have recorded vocals with it. I haven't found any problems with the interface. Have a listen to www.myspace.com/tendermadnessjazz . It is a straight live band recording with only a touch of reverb on the vocals. regards alby
