Seems like a cheap way to do it for now. I wouldn't stick with this for to long though. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/pro-audio/behringer-guitar-link-ucg102-usb-interface If $30 is to much, well then I have no idea.

lol Laura, queef of hcaf Tell me that isn't {censored}ing funny.

Have another guitar, it's not in the pic though. Bassman is a voodoo mod.

Anyone ever grow out of heavy metal as you get older?
nerol1st replied to uppercasenoises's topic in Amps
I grew into it. haha I like it more and more, sans the new gen of crab(p)core. -
Proof that this forum was not always boring as {censored}. Quoted for truth. I was beginning to think that everyone always agreed or didn't give a {censored} what was being said.

Glad you got the sarcasm. What blows my mind is the people who tend to claim this kind of stuff are usually older than myself by a few years. There is no way their hearing is any better than mine, and yet "96k sounds better than 44.1k."

Well, I think the world is flat. I see it that way so it must be so. I don't care that it's been proven otherwise.

Removing pops & clicks for short film...

Yup. The multitrack part of that program is pointless... a silly add-on. But the editor side is more than worth the price. Yeah if it only worked on mac. -

Adobe Audition can do it very easily, faster than any other program I know. I will say Audition has one of the best wav editors on the market. But mixing in that thing (even version 2) sucks. I found it SLOW. -

Well, no idea if logic can do this (cubase can) but if it can: Zoom WAY in on the pop and draw out the wavform so it connects better. That was probably a bad way of explaining it. Basically I'm telling you to re draw the wavform. -
I can't believe this thread is still going. I think I posted one other time a few months ago.

Just tell him he is an asshole. Why the need for something snappier than that? -
I had a MXL 909 that I paid around $60. Let's just say when I sold that piece of {censored} I felt bad for charging $20.
-
I was expecting worse. This isn't horrible, the only suggestion to make this a better "demo quality" is to stick the same reverb on the acoustic as you applied to the vocals, and have him track with a popper stopper from now on.

$400 !!!!!! E-bay ???? Ive been keeping my eye out for one (I mix in the box) and for the past few months I have lost hope of scoring a cheap one. Congradulations on the find. Im jealous If you were using pro tools only this would be fantastic (actually much nicer than the one I got): http://cgi.ebay.com/Mackie-HUI-DAW-Control_W0QQitemZ130273008483QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item130273008483&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A2|240%3A1318 But anyhow would this work? http://cgi.ebay.com/Emagic-Logic-Control-by-Mackie-Designs-Control-Surface_W0QQitemZ260325602524QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item260325602524&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1199|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A2|240%3A1318

$400 !!!!!! E-bay ???? Ive been keeping my eye out for one (I mix in the box) and for the past few months I have lost hope of scoring a cheap one. Congradulations on the find. Im jealous It's the oldest one. Not a mackie control pro, or conrol pro universal. Those are still spensive.

It's currently 2.01 here in auburn. It's 2.24 in Rush/Henrieta (Rochester area).
-
Yeah I have gear I want to dump. But I'm not in a situation where I am disparate to dump it so I'll wait.
-
Gas is going way the hell down. I bought a mackie control for $400. Actually other than that, the economy blows. Stores are dumping thier {censored} at lower rates and the sales are titties.

What frequency rate are you using?
nerol1st replied to Kaux's topic in Phil O'Keefe: In The Studio Trenches
24/44.1 However I just recorded some impulses at 96k. -
Nerol Studio.

You don't want weighted keys unless your spending 6 times that amount. I have a keystation 88 pro and the action isn't very impressive (and $400).

Whats your budget? I did my room with OC703 for under $400.
