  1. So I bought a Partsocaster and have been working on it and upgrading the parts when I have the time and the money. 1) The Neck pickup sounded really weak, so I replaced it with an MIM Fender pickup. It sounded great, but was nearly twice as loud as the other no-name pickups. 2) I added a 2nd MIM pickup to the bridge and figured the middle pickup can stay since I rarely use it. 3) I wired it all up and upgraded the switch to a USA 5-way Fender switch. Now 1 3 5 positions are normal, but 2 and 4 are noise free as they should be, but very very thin sounding. Like if you are
