  1. Roland Micro Tube- battery operated. Great during a power outage Fender 76 Silverface Champ - because it's vintage Fender Super Champ XD - I thought I needed something with digital fx. I use it on the small gigs b/c of it's ease connecting to a PA Orange Brent Hines Terror - amazing deal Kustom Defender V50 - another amazing deal put with some power Marshall DSL 5c modded w/12” Greenback - I hadn't owned a Marshall and at the time b/c of neighbors I needed low power Marshall DSL 1h 50th Anniversary - Cool little amp with low power break up VHT Special 6 Ultra head - checks my low power needs and really sounds great Vox AC15 - I bought a Gretsch and was looking for that chime. Bugera 1960 - another great deal that will blow the doors off SLL 5watt (made from an Akai/Roberts tube r to r) - interesting low power amp that is versatile. I have started to think about thinning out the collection.
  2. How far are you from Nashville. You should be able to find someone there capable.
  3. All suggestions sound good. If you're able try and play them. How a acoustic feels is so important.
  4. A lot of cable companies have lifetime warranties on their cables. Buy a cable that does and your all set.
  5. I still own a AL2800 I purchased at the Rondo store when I happened to be in N. Jersey many years ago. I never had a problem with it.
  6. The Super Champ is a fun amp to play with the different voicings and fx. Like your Jet City it's 15 watts also and 15 watts can be loud for home use.
  7. I have a Korean Epiphone SG made of mahogany and I did upgrade the pickups to a set of Gibson Classic 57. The body is light, the neck is fantastic and the tone is great.
  8. I thought they charge more for road worn equipment.
  9. They do some very good work over there. I have been tempted on many occasions but have not pulled the trigger.
  10. Nice job. Looks real good.
  11. Very nice. Yamahas are very underrated guitars. Enjoy.
  12. I used to own one and if I remember, those amps ran hot. Like Phil implied, might be a good idea to change power tubes. Before I sold it I put the chassis in a larger cabinet so I could put a 12" speaker in it. What a beast it was.
  13. Thanks, but not new. I bought it over 10 years ago. Still have it.
  14. I was visiting in NJ and wasn't far from the Rondo store and bought a AL2500 with P90's at $199 as they were relocating soon. When I got home, after looking at the headstock, the salesperson gave me a AL2800.
  15. I haven't bought anything form GF in many years, but I did have a great experience with them. I had bought a ash Telecaster body for a partscaster project. When the body came, it had a small chip on the side of the body. After contacting them and showing a photo of the damage they sent me a replacement and told me to keep the "damaged" body. After some minor sanding the body was perfectly usable. The replacement came 3 days later and both bodies became the Tele Twins. I ended up keeping the one on the right and gifted the one on the left.
  16. Oh my god! Hendrix used Photoshop! winner winner chicken dinner
