I don't care what the head stock says as long as it looks the same. Neck thru, wrap around bridge or t-o-m with string thru, maple neck, mahogany sides with carved top (RGA), ebony fret board, emg's. MB there "is" "talks" of a Mark V. The Mark IV is old, give them time. Hopefully the will do a smooth/rough (Modern/Vintage) switch, as it seems the further you go back the Mark series gets more aggressive. I'd really hate to see the Mark V less aggressive than the Mark IV. Take Care
