i put a thread up comparing a couple cheaper mics here: http://acapella.harmony-central.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1652824 check them out and i'll pm you the list. they are all mics that cost between $300 and $500, though you should let your ears judge. FWIW i owned a tlm103 and it was not the right mic for me and i tried to force it to be, i think i lost a lot of time and energy with that approach...
