  1. If you have one you want to sell, PM me with a price. Thanks!
  2. Hey Guys! I really appreciate you taking the time to explain and post what you have. Awesome! Thanks! Dale
  3. I've been hearing this effect in some of the stuff I've been listening to here lately. I don't know what to look at or where to begin. I've looked at the Fulltone Deja Vibe 2, but I don't know very much about it or if it would be the best option for me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Dale
  4. I got the Roctavios and the Keeley modded AD9 in today. The Moog should be here in a week or two. I like the Roctavios. It's going to take some work dialing in, but I was able to get some awesome tones out of it. It's definitely different, but in a real cool way. I'm very happy with it. I've hardly played around with a delay before, but this Keeley AD9 sounds pretty good. It is definitely going to take some fine tuning as well. Once I get it figured out, I might eventually invest in one of those high dollar Moog delays, but we will see. Anyway, I appreciate all of the responses from all of you. I hardly ever come in here, but I guess I will be in here a bit more often because I'm satisfied with my amplifiers after 6 years of buying and selling everything under the sun. Effects it is! Take Care! Dale
  5. did the rest of us not give you any assurance at all? Yes, but his response was a tad bit more personal because he knew a good bit about me and my tastes.
  6. knowing you're affinity for failure, etc...those thick analogy effects will get you damned close to some of their more organic effected tracks. it's fantastic. excellent choices. That is blessed reassurance! Thanks! Whew! Dale
  7. I never have been into effects all that much, so I just took the plunge the other day. I picked up these: Keeley Modded Ibanez AD9 Delay Moogerfooger 12-Stage Phaser MJM Roctavios (Octave/Octave Fuzz) I already have a Teese RMC3 LE Wah. I wanted to stay all analog. It was a heck of a lot of money, but I hope I did all right. Anyone care to comment? Dale
  8. I'm selling a Peavey XXX head with the footswitch and slip cover. It comes with JJ E34L's in the power section and JJ preamp tubes. It sounds freakin' awesome. I just don't play it. $600 shipped to the Lower 48 U.S. You can contact me at cte20595 AT centurytel DOT net. Thanks! Dale

Does R refer to the year it was built and the following number is which one it was from that year, in this case the 30,110th? Does VR mean 2006? The serial numbers just run in sequence and don't refer to any year. The "R" just means Rectifier or Recto I'm guessing. Your friend's amp was the 30,110th Recto ever made. My Dual Rectifier is R-00246. It just signifies that it was the 246th Recto made. Mesa used to date the inside of the chassis. That is how some people know when their Rectos were made. Other than that, you have to call Mesa with the serial number. Dale
  10. Originally posted by luckett Sorry about the multiple posts, what's wrong with the board tonight? I don't believe those earlier ones did. You still have the original power tubes in it?
  11. Originally posted by luckett Not yet. Still up for grabs. Did you ever have a bias pot installed or did it come with one? I remember reading somewhere that those earlier ones didn't have bias pots. Dale
