  1. My wife will often ask me how much an amp or piece of gear is worth. She probably just waiting for me to keel over, so she can rid the house of music gear. So what I tell her about the worth of ever piece of gear and it's worth. I say it's worth nothing if you don't play. Now, Mesa has amazing records and they are a small company. Call em or email them. DC amps were made between 1993 and 1999. Some graphic eq's and some don't. 700-800 buckeroos, depending on condition and how fast you want to move it. I bet 300 bucks sells it fast.
  2. This Yeah the grain will not match. Paint covers up a world of sin.

  4. That thing is beggin to make some buskin coin.
  5. My favorite quote Keith Richards reportedly owns 3000 guitars, and he once jokingly said, "Give me five minutes and I'll make them all sound the same."
  6. very nice. I have a older PRS Custom 22. I kept the rotary switch in mine. Like you said, feels a little like a Les Paul, with better upper fret access. Enjoy your NGD, it's as good to me as new girlfriend day, but the others don't get jealous when waiting in the wings.
  7. Mesa has excellent customer service.
  8. Like brothers from another mother, we are.
  9. yes, that might be just what the doctor ordered.
  10. I love semi and hollowbody guitars. I own quit a few of them, Gretsch, Rickenbackers, Gibsons and Godin 5th Aves. It's not cost of a guitar that makes it great, for years my bar gigging axe was a MIJ 62 Tele RI. It just sounded and did everything I wanted it too. I usually, but not always by once choice guitar, and this year I think I'm going for another Gretsch Hollowbody. It's not etched in stone yet.
  11. The Martin D 18 is a very fine guitar. It does have a lot of bass end and cut mids, as is the characteristic of a Dreadnaught. I don't know how you mic-ed the guitar or what mics you have used, but adjust the mics and properly, eq as needed. Back off on the sound hole, like this.
  12. good amps, good choice.
  13. Last years purchase was a Martin 00028. The thing is the bomb.

I owned one of these. Killer amp. All 98 lbs of it. back of the amp. http://www.heritageownersclub.com/forums/uploads/monthly_2019_03/01717_cPs44hfk3f5_1200x900.jpg.d8d93278a869f9fee8ed6eccdef6da70.jpg I've owned 5 mesa amps over decades. I only have one now. Kept the one that was easiest to lift. Which Mesa you may ask. Mind is a 1-12 combo. Sometimes one knob is just right too.
  15. I heard the key to the the bedrock amps and there tone, was due to some super high end components, and a killer oversized transformer. Good luck. Personally, I'd leave it the way it is. You have a piece of Aerosmith rock history.
  16. It's not rocket science. Brad Jeter (now jettergear) and Ron Pinto, started the company. Brad is over at Guitar Fetish and also owes. A guy named Evan Cantor was the designer. Brad is a pedal designer and makes some very nice OD pedals. He might have time to answer an email https://www.jettergear.com/
  17. I have a j45 from like 1994. Great workhorse. Enjoy your new guitar.
  18. Sounds good. I haven't been play a lot of electric guitar in the past year, mostly acoustic guitar. I don't really ho out much, but I did some 10 years ago. I got am older Maz 18 1-12 combo with reverb and the eq bypass mod, that came with the amp. The new Maz I guess has a smoother master volume and more reverb. I wouldn't bother sending my in or doing the mods.
  19. Nice. I have a Dobro 33H, a Dobro F60 and a Chandler lap steel I'd love to have a good old raw steel body. National have a seriously big fat neck.
  20. Beauty is in the eye. I personally think they are fugly.
  21. Nice I have an old 62 Tele RI that's like 35 years old. I love the look of a double bound tele. Rosewood/ Ebony or maple fretboard. I'd personally do a rosewood/ ebony fretboard, but maple would look really good too. Never mind That's a sweet neck
  22. Ain't everyone. Might be the best day ever for the father of the bride. If the bride likes your band good enough, tell her to keep you guys in mind for her next wedding. Good luck
  23. The Christina Ricci in your head. What you actually get http://www.celebzz.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/christina-ricci-doing-some-moving-in-brooklyn_1.jpg Buyer beware Just sayin
