  1. My rank has increased to Explorer 👍 I'm not sure what i was before, tho 🤔
  2. Yes, guitars are very much getting cheaper and better, and rondo music isn’t “The Only Deal In Town” anymore.
  3. No Agiles, but about 5 or 6 SXes and one Hadean from rondo. Love the jumbo frets on the SXes! I changed out the neck on the Hadean Tele I bought because it did not have jumbo frets. More like Fender Vintage frets, not good 👎🏽
  4. Floyds themselves, and I’m not talking about licensed Floyds, are themselves almost $300 new, if you want to go down that road. I have OFRs on three guitars I have, and when I bought them circa 2007-2010, they were more than $100 cheaper. If I needed to buy a new Floyd today, I would go with the non-fine tuner Floyds which are now readily available on eBay, Reverb, MF, etc. for about $120. I don’t use the fine tuners that much anyway. The cheaper licensed Floyds are not that reliable, except for the Gotoh and the Schaller.
  5. I don’t think Eric has changed much since then, to tell you the truth
  6. In the 2 years+ since I made the previous post, I've gotten a C-Tech Sonny Boy pedal. I like it as much as the Red Rooster. The Sonny Boy seems to have more "Blues Mojo," tho. The Red Rooster has more of a Classic Rock vibe to it. Pics
  7. SlagleStrings Fat Bottomed Tens, 10-52 gauge. I play anything from blues to metal.
  8. Humbucker in the bridge position. I started off playing “clean” too, but now I’m all about distortion.
  9. Currently, I’m using 10-52 gauge strings on all of my guitars, including my 3 Floyd-equipped guitars. BTW, my 3 Floyd’s are all OFRs. I’ve tried Specials and licensed Floyd’s and I just don’t trust them as much as an OFR. I’ve had strings pop out of the saddles on cheaper Floyd’s.
  10. I love the Red Rooster I got used from eBay for $50, it goes very well with my Monoprice Stage Right 5 watt tube amp Here's a good review of it right here on HC
  11. My Hotone Vulcan Five-0 mini-amp models a Peavey 5150
  12. Thanks DeepEnd. I don’t have a wife, so I don’t have to worry about that. But I have a sister and brother-in-law that I live with and when they’re here, I use headphones.
  13. I also have a Squier Bullet Tele that I put single-coil sized ‘buckers (also from eBay) in
  14. I have a Hadean Tele from rondomusic, got it a year ago and put a no-name single-coil sized ‘bucker in the bridge position and I use it for fairly distorted stuff.
  15. An MXR Fullbore Metal pedal into a Hotone Vulcan Five-0 mini-amp into a Randall RG8 mini cab
