  1. Vid...nice job with the decals. I've been doing these as well now for about 10 years or so. I do have one trick to offer that I may have overlooked but I didnt see mentioned in this thread anywhere............Before applying, spray over the decal with a light coat of laquer (wouldnt hurt to do this before mailing them)...this will keep the ink from being so fragile and rubbing off and will also give the decal itself a little more strength. I do have a question if you dont mind me asking.......where are you getting your waterslide stock? The last that I bought, which was a while back, came from a model train company and I really wasnt happy with it. The ink didnt adhere to it very well and it was overly fragile as well. Another trick that I figured out for total neck refinishes is using transparent plastic sheeting (very thin) instead of waterslide. You just apply a coat of laquer and while it's still wet, lay the decal in it. The laquer acts as the adhesive. Then just continue spraying over it with more coats.
