I talked to him twice via email night before last. He got back to me both times within a half an hour. Of course that was at 2:00am EST. But with the time difference that may have been just right. Seems like a really friendly guy.

I posted it over in Phil`s thread too. I think that`s what we ought to do. Spam up every thread on the board. Nothing but spam so everything has to get locked out or deleted.

I love the individual spam threads. I don`t use the sticky thread because I`m on dial up and it literally takes hours to go through it. Perhaps all the dial up users should file a class action lawsuit against HC and MF for infringing on their rights to do business via the internet. If I can`t acess the spam in a timely manner then how can I do business with anyone. This sounds like discrimination to me. Isn`t this against HC and MF policies?

I havn`t bought much this year except for my Single Recto head, a couple of sets of pups and my Valve Jr. head.

Tha Valve Jr. head takes the cake as my sweetest purchase so far this year. For what it cost it has no right sounding so darn good. I really like this little amp. It`s got three great tones in it and is even more capable with a good eq and boost pedal.

Over-all `06 has been a good gear year so far. I`ve been blessed.

So what about you guys? I know there are some Jems of `06 out there.

Wow, I don`t know carlygtr56, but he is coming off as a total ass now. Arguing PTP vs. PCB is one thing, but trying to hurt someone`s reputation and business is another thing all together.

I don`t recall anyone ever saying that James made the worlds best amps, but it`s damn obvious that he knows what he`s doing. I`ve heard some of his clips and they sound pretty darn rockin to me. I`ve also seen the gut shots of his amps and they also look clean and profesional. And to top it off, his prices aren`t out of this world expensive. You get what you pay for applies in a positive way with James products.

I`ve been around this board for a few years now and don`t recall James ever slamming someone else`s amps. I think the most critical I`ve seen him was during the whole Divinity amp fiasco. When he agreed with JerryP that there were some design flaws in the Madison amp. That`s some pretty harsh stuff.

That`s the second gut shot of a Bruno that I`ve seen. I`m no expert, but I`m not very impressed. The other one looked even worse than that.

I do really appreciate the obvious work and detail that went into that Hiwatt though.

That is a very good looking job on the interior of that Larry. Looks like a Christmas tree. Even the pots are color coded. Sweet.

I actually like my cab while standing in front of it about five to ten feet away. Most of the time I wear earplugs when playing at high volume so it cuts down on the spikeyness. Also I use a wireless and play from the next room when not wearing plugs.
