  1. It was made between ‘68-‘72 (I think). Its got a sticker on the back of the headstock saying “made in Taiwan” and the serial number is T0053831 Anyone good with old serial number decoding?? Thanks
  2. I have (3) 20' guitar cables going from my pedalboard to the amp... I'd like to be able to wrap them up somehow (non permanently, and no tape). I looked online and saw some expensive options (8' for $20??) Does anyone know where I can get such an animal inexpensively? Thanks in advance!

  6. I need to replace the casters on my 25+ year old Peavey 4x12 cabinet... looking to get something with heavy duty rubber wheels and good bearings. Any recommendations ?
  7. It says cheap under $50... nothing I have is under $50. Thanks for the offer on the vest, however I'd be more interested in the drugs you are taking?

  9. As promised- here is a recording with the different saddles (the stock tusq and Bob Colosi's bone saddle). Also added some of Bob's bone bridge pins with the ebony inlay, and some Gotoh 510's in Nickel (looks better than chrome IMO). I would add pictures but it is telling me it is too big. Gotta love these forums. Note: Make sure you watch in HD Forgot to add- they are the same light Elixir strings before and after, and also the same pick. I didn't want there to be variations. I recorded with the mic's built into my Zoom H4n. So- the differences I can notice are slight but apparent. The guitar sounds a bit less "shrill". I'm thinking it rolled off some super high frequencies. Not that it's a bad thing. (I wish someone would create a wave comparison.) Listening to the recordings it sounds like the mids have increased with the bone, which isn't so apparent in person. One thing for sure- the guitar has more sustain with bone. There's no doubt about that. As far as usability, I think sustain is lower in my list of needs, but I thought I'd point it out. Tell me what you guys hear/think! I added a poll, please vote. Thanks!
  10. Here's how she sounds guys.... sorry for you purists, it's got chorus and reverb through the loudbox mini... and yes I double tracked the solo over myself. In a new post I'm going to do a "before and after" of the regular organic tone with Tusq vs. Bob Colossi's bone saddle.
  11. No need to apologize- It must feel like 2006 because we are like relics here at HC...! Speaking of missing the "good ol' days", the "new" forum layout is pretty painful. I remember when they tried a new forum layout and reverted to the old styling due to complaints. I wonder what I missed since then where everyone is stuck in this mess. Am I missing something, or is "Google Site Search" the only search function we have now?
