I'm 57 (Feb 21, 2010). I paid off our mortgage 5 years ago. Now, I'm into a 20 year loan on a motor home (15 more years). Insurance payments; utiliies; home improvements; car loan; line of credit payments and my business is down by 50 to 60%. My wife is also self employed and has very little new biz coming in. We're getting stiffed on $8k owed to us from a scumbag customer. Something gets sold if I want any new gear. The economy sucks. I sold my Godin Radiator yesterday. I have an SG Jr; SG Std and 2 Am Std Strats on craigslist. I may put 2 '90's Danelectro U 2's on CL tomorrow. Welcome to the world of today.

I spend my weekend camping in Hershey, Pa. Last night, it was 32 degrees. No campfire. No campfire boozing. 7:30 this morning, our water was shut off. It was kinda slushy according to the campground security. We went with our motor home. I did the tent thing many years ago. I'm too much of a {censored} to do that now. Anyway, we went to the Harrisburg, Pa GC. Nothing said go into a 12 month pay off deal for me. They did have this PRS Starla in the ugliest color blue I have ever seen. It was close to Fender's 1980 Maui Blue. It'll probably be worth a fortune 30 years from now.

That's not a signature guitar. That's a tribute guitar. A signature guitar is a guitar designed in collaboration with an artist. Jimi Hendrix had been dead for 27 years when that guitar came out. Here we go with unnecessary semantics. The Hendrix estate never authorized Fender to do a Jimi Hendrix signature guitar. It's legal mumbojumbo. Tribute model in this case is a signature guitar.
