  1. Aliensporebomb here. My old password doesn't work and it's affiliated with a dead email address so asb I am for now.
  2. Use the clean boost to boost a JC120. Pretty cool. Another pedal it works for is the TC Electronic BLD but those are pretty hard to find now. I also like using a Klon to boost the front end of a modeler to give it a more tube like sound. It really worked which surprised me. But probably best goosing the front end of a tube amp or preamp.
  3. If you are playing a keyboard just use your MIDI out to a second keyboard and set up a second synth with a complementary patch and set it to the interval you want. No harmonizer needed really.
  4. He's very polarizing because he's can come across as kind of a cartoon character but reportedly a very nice guy, not really egotistical like you would expect and got to watch a video at a clinic where he was showing off one particular technique and a guy in the audience asked him about something unrelated very specific, he literally went out of the audience and went up to the guy and showed him exactly how what he wanted to see was done even though it was kind of a deviation from what he was talking about. Spent more time than you would think explaining it. I get the idea if he'd come along 15 years previously he would have been dabbling in prog-rock and indeed, some of his solo work sounds like prog with shred guitar. He'll probably be forever known for the double guitar and crazy double guitar playing but he's capable of more than that when needed.
  5. I'm the polar opposite of that guy, I buy guitars and then hold onto them so long I forget I have them.
  6. Interesting. I remember the early Agiles and figured legal pressure was largely behind the body and headstock design changes. A little too close. But that being said, interesting. I don't remember the Hamer Standard (explorer) types.
