  1. well yeah I did notify the police but for some reason my local sheriff's station did not get to transfer the information with the SD county police station so it didnt really come up on any stolen item database.
  2. I had an LTD M-350 stolen last year and a forumite found it on ebay. Turns out a local pawnshop was selling it. I got it back but I had to buy it from the pawnshop:/
  3. Ummm...not to be a dick or anything but.....awww what the heck, I guess I'm a dick....why would you buy something with so distinctive a sound as a Tele and then decide you want to slap a HB in it? I don't think you're going to get the same sound with tapped HB as you would from the regular Tele bridge single. As I understand it, they wind those things to sound "that way". That in conjunction with the metal bridge plate and overall genius design of Leo is what creates the "twang". dont worry. its ok to be a dick once in a while;) haha well i'm sorta going for an all in one guitar. I like the clean tele tone but I hate how it cant do high gain. so im thinking maybe i get the best of both worlds if i put a coil tapped bucker on the bridge.
  4. your pick attack... does it also have something to do with how you set up your guitar? For example, low action with some string buzz? This may sound like a stupid question...
  5. Hey guys, I just got my first tele about a month ago. Its a squier classic vibe and it plays and sounds great! But I need a guitar with a humbucker so I'm thinking about putting a Dimarzio T Tone zone on the bridge coil tapped. So here's the deal, is a humbucker going to "twang" on a tele? If not, do I still get that classic twang when I coil tap the tone zone? I'm thinking it has something to do with how the tele is specifically built and its not just the single coil because if its all in the pickups then wouldn't a strat twang as well? Thanks guys!
