  1. Good to see that I am not the only one who plays by ear. HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
  2. Underrated: Marty Friedman, Gary Moore I'm surprized nobody said anything about Gary Moore.
  3. Another underrated: Joe Perry. He can kick so much ass.

  6. you would I wouldn't put my name on just anything. :poke: Custom axes, starting at $1,000. Neck-thru axes start at $1,400
  7. I have been a Van Halen nut since I was a wee little dude (about 4-5). At that age I just knew it was cool, because my dad cranked it. Then around the age of 12, I got VH1 off my Dad, and I put that thing in my CD player, and as soon as the intro riff to Runnin' With the Devil kicked in, it hit me like a {censored}ing brick wall. At that point, I was just getting into the guitar, and from that point all I wanted to play Van Halen stuff. So, Eddie was a huge influence on me since I was 4 or 5. What he does with that guitar is amazing. He can still out play any guitarist I have ever heard. You know right away when it's Eddie on the guitar. The tone. It's so signature. Nobody else does as good as Eddie. Eddie is the definition of a guitar hero.
  8. Was Doug Aldrich tearing the place down???:poke: Doug is a badass guitarist. He is (to me) the definition of a rock star. Les Paul. Marshall stack. Big hair. killer leads.
  9. It very well could be a Custom, there were tons of them made, some Customs go for $2 to $3000.00 and up, they're on ebay everyday. Cool. That was one of the best neck I ever played. I think it might have had an ebony board, but I'm not sure. That guitar was perfect for lagato. It sustained for days, and the pickups were hot enough for anything I wanted to play.
  10. Okay, I have a question had a Charvel I played, since this is a thread about Charvel. At the one music store I go to, they have a Charvel that has the same pickup arrangment, pickups, and bridge of the San Dimas. This one, tho, had a pointy headstock, a rosewood board, and a copper snakeskin finish. I don't see any Charvel's on Charvel's website like the one I played. It's selling for $1,600. Was it a Custom Shop Charvel or what?
