Don't be fooled by the shredder stigma. I play surf, reggae, and punk rock with mine. You could buy a new Japan one, a used USA one, and still have enough to buy a sack of weed, a case of good beer, a tank of gas, and a steak dinner. ;-)

That is fucking sharp looking man. Very very nice. I would have stuck with a non reversed headstock, but regardless, if I were a tele guy, I'd have already PM'd you an offer. Truly spiffy.

If I could plug my pedalboard in (or even sheist the guy into buying me a couple new ones ;)) I'd be ok.

However, I do make use of controlled feedback, and I don't know if that would work with such an arrangement.

how are those necks? Jackson thin? or fender like?

If you're talkin to me, pilgrim, they're kinda in the middle. Probably a little closer to Jackson but nowhere near Ibanez. I thought I was a fatty neck kind of guy til I tried one. Heh, now fat teles and Les Pauls feel a touch off to me. I do adore the Charvel profile though. The compund radius helps a lot, great for leads and chording. I have teency hands though, fwiw.

The thing about the D Tuna on the purple Charvel I sold recently was that the little screw inside it wouldn't stay calibrated, it needed some thread tape or something... or I was doing it wrong.

Did you make sure the fine tuner screw for the E string on the Floyd is almost all the way unscrewed? Like barely touching the bolt that you loosen to remove the strings, if at all....

Heh, I dunno. I've had my tweed case for like 8 years of the 9.5 I've been playing, and these SKBs for only 1 or so, and they're pretty awesome. Tweeds look badass but these look {censored}ing professional.

{censored} yeah, chambered LP's are awesome. I have a chambered studio mahogany from around 06 an I just love it. Lighter than any strat I've held, and the biggest, fattest tone out of all my guitars.

These things are beasts. I have two. One is the Fender version but for bass, and its a monster. One is Charvel branded and came with my So Cal, I totally trust it. The locks are sturday, and you can even fly with one. GREAT cases.

As much mojo as they have, I'll never buy another tweed case.

Yeah, I had such a hard time deciding. I love all the flashy colors: slime green, candy green, candy blue, candy tangerine... I even like the pagan gold, but the white was just to classy to pass up.

I've still gotta bond a little with it, play a show or two, but once I do, I could see seeking out a more flashy partner for it. It's such a great guitar.

I have one tattoo, its a pic from the cover of "more scary stories to tell in the dark" by, well, complied by alvin schwartz, the art is by stephen gammell. They're kids books some of you might remember.

It probably would've cost about 400 as it's my whole upper arm, but the bassist in my band is a professional artist who works in a shop, so she was free. Tits.

But yeah, they all hate when somone says "tat." They prefer "tattoo" and "ink" is acceptable I believe.

Stealing from other people, meaning individuals, is terrible and wrong. I would never. BUT, stealing from either a corporation, or the clergy is like being given that three years you spent working at safeway back at the end of ur life somehow.

I used to play in youth group praise band, when I was young and impressionable, some yahoo gave the band a de-armond 7 string sg type thing. None of us wanted to use it, it had seriously scrapable layers of grime. I tookit home, completely dismantled, painted, and brought it back to life, then never really returned it and sold it to a buddy for sixty. I feel like I should have been given an all new top notch rig for what I did for that band, then they kick me out for some lack of focus on jesus, right they were.

Sry if jesus is ur cup of tea, but he {censored} in mine, anyway id never steal froma person, but from a place like guitar center, I totally would.
