I had my first recording session with the AT3035 the other day, and I can safely say it was an excellent purchase. The vocal recordings sound head and shoulders above what I got from the Beyer 58. There are a dozen or so AT3035s on eBay at the moment.

I picked up an Audio-Technica AT3035 on eBay recently for about $75. It was new, in the box, just unwrapped. Possibly used once. It's my first condenser as well, and I should be able to try it out later this week. I'll let you know how it goes. I'm pretty sure it'll be better than most of the mics mentioned in this thread... at least I hope so!
