  1. I read his recent Rolling Stone article, and he seems like he'd make an A+ drinking buddy so long as you'd be able to keep yourself away from his relationship bull{censored}. I think it's kind of mindboggling that someone this famous hasn't understood that yet that you have to be mindful because anyone can interpret what you say any way. I think it's obvious he doesn't get his rocks off on being edgy and hurting people's feelings with tongue in cheek, but you have to know by now that some people sincerely can't hear that word in any context without having bad memories or feelings brought up. When it comes to any PC stuff I always just think of it in this Greek philsopher's phrase "The boy throws stones in jest, but the frog gets hurt in earnest"
  2. I didn't understand why the OP would think Mustaine would ever look like a woman, but then I found a pic of him with his actual girlfriend and it made sense.
  3. I've never stole or had anything stolen from me. I couldn't steal a guitar just because I'm sort of weird about having anything that I didn't work for, even if it's a gift from family. I sort of want to know exactly what I'm getting, when, why and how. Then when I get it, I sort of expect that at some point I'm not going to have it anymore. Stolen, sold, given away, passing away from the material world, whatever. I don't own anything that I couldn't bare to lose, cuz if you can't lose it then you don't own it, it owns you. Incidentally, I gotta side with CSM and say that I can't get down with the tough guy attitude about shooting people in the face over lacquered wood.
  4. Underrated: Link Wray. Sure, he didn't have incredible chops and had one hit, but damned if you don't hear his name enough for basically, oh i dunno, inventing the power chord and thus rock and roll as we know it. Even though we all know it's a joke, he's not even in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. There would be no Rock and Roll Hall of Fame without him!
  5. first guitar: started playing in '02 with a cheapo acoustic that didn't have a truss rod and the action was so high that it was impossible to do barre chords, so I learned the first position chords until I got a peavey strat copy. first good guitar: 94 anniversary MIA strat in '03. put a JB Jr in the bridge and repainted it black. It sounds just OK, but I still haven't found a neck that fits my hands a good. I need to make money and get a #2 or new #1 as I've nearly worn the frets down to nothing on this one.
  6. overrated: everyone you've heard of underrated: this one guy you've never heard of
