  7. I'm not clearly, all straps just feel the same to me. In this case, I figured an ugly strap for an ugly guitar made sense.

  9. I lubs my RE-20 with all my heart. Twist function is so useful for noise, especially when you stick some dirt or a ring mod after it.
  10. We try not to spend any/ much time doing stage banter. I hate going to gigs where there are tons of breaks or long breaks between songs filled with inane chatter. I paid for live music, not a chat show! In all seriousness, depending on what type of band you are, a wall of noise/ feedback or looping something to make ludes is always a good idea. In a 30 minute set my band typically play about 8 songs and can probably get through about 5 or 6 of those in a row without breaks in between, and that's despite me using 5 or 6 different tunings with 1 guitar. For our style it means there's no energy lost from start to finish or moments where the set feels like it's lagging.
  11. I'm really liking the Bambi video. Light and space shouldn't be a problem, as based on what I've heard the studio is pretty big, plus there are only 3 of us anyway. We were probably going to do more low level lighting actually, just to make it a bit more atmospheric. Has anyone done a single set in one continuous video? Obviously there would be a lot more editing involved with that, but if you did then were there any issues involved which would mean you wouldn't do it again?
  12. My band have access to a TV studio and filming equipment and want to do a showcase of our live sound whilst premiering our new EP. Just wondered if any of you guys have ever done this and how it turned out. Any suggestions, potential problems etc. that you encountered? And if you've got them, post links to your own.
  13. Would a voice recording from an old Sony Ericsson work? My current smart phone is a tiny bit broken I am interested in general in this though. I've been told my accent is generic, but I think the fact that I didn't live in England until I was 11 helps. Means I can, and quite often do, change it up depending on who I'm talking to.
  14. yup, let me get the soldering done and then i can focus on my recording set up Just realised how impatient my post looks haha. All in your own time of course. Looks great.
  15. Oh sweet mother that's glorious. If you can please record some clips of it, would love to hear how it sounds.
