  1. Thanks to Valentine's Day, I have to clear out a lot of my old equipment and take some pedals off my pedalboard to make room for new ones. All the items listed are going to be OBO and also up for trades, but the equipment I'm particularly interested in right now is a Strymon Riverside (long shot, I know). Up for grabs I have the following: Line 6 Flextone II XL 2x12 2x50watts with 4 channel footswitch and cable (not the smaller 1x12 combo). This amp has been gigged with and the tolex has slight fraying, but it is loud and the Mesa and Blackface models in particular are amazing. It has a wide range of effects from chorus, tremolo, rotary speaker, vibrato to excellent delays, compression and many more. This amp makes the Spider series amp look like...well....the Spider series doesn't really need me to trash on it, it manages of its own accord. This is a great amp for both the bedroom and gigging and will hold up well. This is the second I've owned after the first got stolen and I'm only getting rid of it because I got a nice upgrade for V-day. I'm asking $250 OBO (eBay is around $280 with no footswitch). I want this amp to go to a good home and help you shred as much as possible. Orange Mini Crush - This is a super handy amp to have sitting on your desk and just run your guitar into (or through a pedalboard first) and flesh out some ideas without blasting your roommates or neighbors eardrums out. It takes either a 9V battery or a standard 9V power supply. This amp has never left my desk and is in pristine condition. It has a clean channel, a dirt channel, as well as a built in tuner, which saves searching around your room trying to find a damn tuner hiding in a corner somewhere. The Crush is going for $50 OBO. Weber Power 100W Power Attenuator - This is an discontinued model, which ironically has more features than the newer Weber attenuators. It has a tone stack for tone sculpting, treble boost, the different Ohm selections, etc. If you are not familiar with attenuators, they are used to be able to crank your ungodfully loud Twin Reverbs or Friedman or whatever other tube amplifier you're using that doesn't have a master volume to push the tubes harder and get that juicy break-up. The more you attenuate, the chunkier and overdriven you push your amp. They allow you to push your tube amp to that break-up point at a lower volume, so you get that sweet, sweet tone without causing everyone's ears in a mile radius to start bleeding profusely. I am asking $190 OBO. That's all I have for now, please feel free to email or text me and see if we can work something out. I live in Sunnyvale, CA and am mobile so we may be able to save some shipping costs. Otherwise, I propose splitting any shipping 50/50. Like I said, outside of just cash, I am looking for a Strymon Riverside, but I will listen to any offers that are put forward - don't be shy. Hope to hear from you and keep rocking out, guys.

All the items listed are going to be OBO and also up for trades, but the equipment I'm particularly interested in right now is a Strymon Riverside (long shot, I know). Up for grabs I have the following: TC Electronic Ditto X2 - I love this pedal, I love looping and this thing has amazing features to go along with just simple looping - reverse loop, half time loop. The possibilities are endless. Unfortunately theres just not enough room on my board to keep it on full-time for the few live songs I do with it. This pedal is in almost pristine condition, takes standard 9V power supply, kept on a pedalboard that is sturdier than sturdy should be possible. I care about my guitar equipment and do my absolute best to ensure that everything is treated with the respect it deserves. This goes for all the pedals and equipment I will be listing. For the Ditto X2 I am asking $120 OBO. Catalinbread Dirty Little Secret - This pedal is a monster, it's a cranked Marshall emulation, I just don't play anything heavy enough to justify letting it collect dust so hopefully someone out there wants to tear it up Rage-style. This pedal has not left my house, as I never found the inclination to make my tone that heavy. Again, pristine condition, 9V standard power supply. The DLS I'm asking $130 OBO for. TC Helicon Mic Mechanic - This is a vocal pedal, rather than a guitar pedal. I used it when I first started singing and have improved to the point where it just takes up space and I don't need the crutch anymore. However, it does have some really cool features. Pitch correction (adjustable), multiple styles of delay and reverb to add ambiance, plus an input gain on the side to increase your volume and put your PA a little harder if you need it. For someone who is on the fence about their singing, this is a huge confidence booster. It helped me a lot, that's for damn sure. This pedal also comes with it's own power supply, as it takes 14V rather than 9V. I'm asking $100 OBO. That's all I have for now, please feel free to email or text me and see if we can work something out. I live in California so if anyone is local we can meet, otherwise shipping is not an issue. Like I said, outside of just cash, I am looking for a Strymon Riverside, but I will listen to any offers that are put forward - don't be shy. Hope to hear from you and keep rocking out, guys.

  4. I have very little experience with synths/sequencers, being a guitarist, but a friend of mine gave me a Roland MC-505 that he no longer wanted and I was hoping to be able to use the organ and several of the synth tones that are built into the banks with my band. The problem is the "keys" that are on the front are very limited and not intuitive for someone who is used to just playing a regular keyboard. It may be a dumb, easy-to-answer question, but say I buy a Alesis Q49 or whatever other MIDI keyboard I happen to choose and hook it up to the MIDI input on the back of the MC-505, does it then open up the full 49 key range of the keyboard with whatever sound I choose? I would prefer not to have to spend a bunch of money buying a keyboard with all those kinds of sounds and programming built in if I can just get a cheaper MIDI keyboard and use that. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, guys!
  5. Ah, I love me some Bootsy Collins. And that's a pimp-ass Warwick.
  6. Click here I'm back, everybody! Slightly healthy again, hopefully the whole thing-where-the-cells-in-my-body-slowly-turn-against-me-and-try-to-shut-me-down is gone for good this time! Anyway, I'm glad to be back and I hope there are at least one or two people here still who remember who I am. And maybe this time I'll be able to stay back for more than two weeks before bad {censored} happens again and keeps me away for another year.
  7. I never got how Greedo, who dies in his first and only scene, gets subtitles, but Chewie, who's in all three movies, doesn't! He doesn't get a medal at the end of A New Hope, either. Pure speciesism. He doesn't get subtitles because it's supposed to encourage you to use your own imagination and it saves them from having to be too creative with their witticisms that Han uses...and they don't even have to give Chewie any, they just have to pretend like he said something that was rude to Han. It's just like when someone is having an argument on the phone in a movie, they don't let you listen to the other end of the phone, you just have to fill it in yourself in your head. As for the end of A New Hope, {censored} the Rebels, they are speciesist. Their favorite pastime of throwing Bothan lives away left and right kind of reminds me of how much Southerners enjoy all of their pastimes that involve nooses.
  8. Hey dude. Good to see you here. I'm glad you enjoy it. Definitely, man, I always enjoy what you post. I've got a bunch of stuff on my computer of yours from over the last couple years. I look forward to hearing the vocals, what kind of style are you hoping for for them?
  9. Bitching board, FenderEHX! I definitely swung my vote your way. I'm glad I managed to get back here to the forums in time for this.
  10. I've been listening man, sounds pretty killer. I've missed hearing your music and witticisms. Screw my body and the stupid disease that seems to want me to die, I'm back to HCFX, hopefully for good this time.
  11. I just got back today (like an hour ago) from a taking break from HCFX for almost a year. It was involuntary, unfortunately a re-run of the awesomely horrendous medical issues from before that had me gone for a pretty damn long time in 2010. I got to be back for like a couple weeks the last time before I got sick again, haha. But hopefully this is the last of it, I missed this place and would like to be able to stay up on all the drama and name-calling. Anyway, man, welcome back to you too! I'll check out your video in a bit (downloading some stuff that's taking up all my bandwidth right now) but just from the screenshot on Youtube I'm automatically thinking of Barenaked Nadies.
  12. Is this still available? How much would you be looking for in cash?
