  1. I have 2 of these. I am selling one of them. I have a 16" and an 18". They work perfectly and I bought them new. They have been sitting 25 years. I just re-found them and cleaned them up, etc. They are awesome. I don't know which one I am selling, or how much I want for it yet. I'm looking for feelers.....
  2. It sounds like you're doing just fine. There's an old saying that goes "be careful what you wish for, because you just might get it". Many years ago a friend and I had a home studio that basically consisted of a Fostex 4 track cassette recorder, one SM-58, a Digitech FX box, & Casio keyboard. We constantly bitched about all the limitations, but came up with ways to milk that setup that you wouldn't believe, and we made some great sounding demos. When we moved up to Protools, Roland & Korg digital workstations with plug-ins, sequencers, midi, etc, we spent more time trying to learn the equipment than working on our music. I would certainly advise any musician to learn as much as they can about the technical side of recording, but just don't let it get in the way of your primary goal, which is creating and enjoying the music. Exactly. Especially with digital, you're constantly chasing the proverbial tech dragon, wheras with my analog rig, I made good music all the time. I have now gone digital, (DPS24), and the learning curve is immense. By the time you've mastered it, it has changed again. All my favorite music was made in the 60's & 70's anyway. (Hiss? What hiss? I've got the Zep cranked so loud I can't hear any stinking hiss!)
