i don't know who this jjpistols is that you speak of, but if you think he is worthy then that's good enough for me.

Eddie does what he does, and he does it well. He isn't going to change, people want old school Van Halen and they're getting it. Their days of trying to win new fans are long gone, they're out there pleasing the old ones which is good to see. They're not trying to reinvent themselves every album like some other bands while their fans cry out for what made them popular.

i've always wanted a tattoo, but just never seen or come up with anything i like enough to actually get one. To me each tattoo represents a chapter in your life. I had a mate who got a tattoo of a bass clef in a fireball when he was playing bass in his first band. I thought that was cool.

i think the point of it was to get 3 very different styles of players, which they did. I think 3 similar guys might not have worked as well.

saw it and really liked it. Not a huge fan of any of them but appreciated what they have done, especially Page. But i now have a better understanding of where they are coming from. I now 'get' the Edge. His thing is pedals and cool effects, almost like building a wall of sound rather than just coming up with a riff like most conventional players. And i now understand the simplicity behind Jack Whites stuff. The scene at the start where he builds the basic guitar was a great way to kick things off.
