  1. To sum up this thread... women look better when they put a bunch of dark {censored} around their eyes.
  2. Yep it's cool let's see more of that and less goofy {censored} no one wants.
  3. Don't take my comments about Zvex out of context. Without Zvex few of us would be on this forum today. He changed the game by thinking outside the box. Don't forget about the Vexter series... there was a time when a boutique pedal for less than $170 was something totally new. The reason I hate what Zvex has become is because I feel like the company could still be capable of dropping bombs on the industry but he's {censored}ing around with the "invent-o-box" and box-o-metal.
  4. That's kind of a vague statement. It's likely gross income and not profit. I can't find the quote but I believe she claimed to have "taken home" something like $80k of that. I don't know how many pedal builders you talk to but it's a lot of money for the scope of her business any way you look at it. My point was that if she can leverage profits like that I don't understand why she needs $20k for some goofy dubstep pedal.
  5. Devi alluded to making north of $200k last year in a thread awhile back so it's kind of mystifying why she'd need to raise such an absurd amount to produce one pedal.
  6. Devi is quickly becoming the new Zvex of the effects world... completely irrelevant.

  8. yeah, I listened to the clip... is this really something that astounding? I take it you've never been involved in the world of string music People tend to go really crazy over stuff like that. ------ This definitely is not possible with an e-bow because the e-bow doesn't apply pressure to the string. Choking the string is what is helping make the low notes. You can also apply the same principle and play very high notes with the bow... often by mistake.
  9. I always get compliments on my 335. It can hold it's own against pretty much anything when it comes to bluegrass
  10. I do fine with 1gb. Just depends on what you're doing
  11. http://homepages.nyu.edu/~mk4/subharmonics.html Here are some sound samples of what she's doing That isn't possible on guitar because you're not going to have a sustained attack + pressure on the string. An ebow will keep the string vibrating but it will not put any pressure on the string.
  12. BTW if she's doing what I think she's doing this will never work on guitar. When you bow a string sometimes if it doesn't catch just right it will actually produce tones much higher or much lower than the note you intended. Go to a beginning cello class and you'll hear it all the time. Getting control over it and being able to play notes is pretty amazing though
  13. That's an awful 'hand done' paint job. It just looks like a sloppy 'real' paint job. I too look forward to more clips. Pretty much everything that guy paints looks like something a 3 year old could do imo.
