  1. Tonerider Rocksongs . . . great PAF pickups.
  2. I've actually heard of 1 person who had to drop out for a while because of it
  3. I don't like it much, but if you like the look, why are you asking our opinion? Things that would look horrible to me, look hecka nice on other people
  4. Tonerider sells some, http://www.tonerider.com/pickups/r90spickups.html and one of the forumites here makes some really nice ones http://bg-pups.com/h90.html
  5. i ah . . . wanted a better OD sound, then I wanted a delay, then I needed another OD, then etc . . .
  6. http://www.roadrageprogear.com/ here ya go. It doesn't have midi or anything, just straight switches, but if that's what you're looking for, they're considerable cheaper
  7. it really depends on taste, so just expiriment. This will give you experience and you can start predicting what things will sound like if you put your pedals "this way" or "that way" here's a few general rules though that most people conform to. -Wah goes at the start -Delay goes at the end unless you want the sound to change slightly after each repeat. -Drives and fuzz go at the start before or after the wah depending on taste -with the boost it depends on if you want the tone to stay the same when you boost or if you want like a "supercharged" tone. If you want it to stay the same it goes at the end. If you want it to affect your tone you can insert it at different parts of the chain and the further towards the start you put it the more difference there will be when you activate it. Other than that, I don't have much experience since I've never worked with tremolos or pogs or anything hope that helps
  8. most guitarists are crazy when it comes to tone. Doesn't really matter what "should" sound better. If you like one better than the other, keep the good one. It's a no brainer and stop second questioning yourself.
  9. having only researched wah pedals (I'm going to get one shortly) I can really only tell you the research results. Basically in that price range there are two main contenders 1. the crybaby Pros: many people vouch for the sound and it's supposedly somewhat indestructible. Cons: Dies about as fast as a Line 6 Dl4 and does some major tone sucking 2. the Vox wah pros and cons are about the same, but I hear less about the tone and more good stuff about the reliability. The wah I'm prolly going to end up getting is a Modtone wah because it's in the same price range, has true bypass, and has a 5 year warranty. So I'll just take my chance and if it sounds terrible i'll send it back.
  10. i like both of em. Nice playing!
  11. personally, i think his tone sucks sometimes on certain songs so . . .
  12. I don't have any personal experience, but it seems to me that if you want reverb delay and chorus, just get a TC elec g-sharp or g-major, then just get a midi controller and an xpression pedal. the G-major will even switch channels for you if you set it up right
  13. great . . . did I just find another love/hate pedal with the BBE? Oh well, I'll see if I can find one somewhere to try. More comments?
