  1. i completely agree with Phil .My Yellow version was just about perfect .I even lowered the action just a tad and still no fret buzz.its my first gibson and its a winner.I usually play Telecasters and with its bright but toneful pickups and chunky maple neck ensures I feel at home but the four pots and the short scale leads me to newer and very happy territory .The fret board is very sweet and well set up.I havnt had to do anything to improve it .I usually have to open out nut slots on any guitar I have bought but not this one .Like Phil says ,use the pots to back off any unwanted brightness.

    Keiper Guitars 109s

My one is a fine well playing guitar with a low action and good sounds .It stays in tune probably because the nut is well cut .I play it more than my Gibson and gig it as well as it is very light looks good and plays well .Keiper had very iffy quality but my one is perfect apart from mild string buzz from th e cheap stop tail .My friend who is a proper luthier (he makes lutes ) went over it and pronounces it near perfect. Great if you get a good un .
