  1. TC Electronics Nova Reverb. Virtually brand new, bought about 2 weeks ago, played for about 5-10 hours. I bought this as I didnt have a reverb and, after trying everything, it was the best (except the Eventide, but thats 3 times as much..!) Its as it came new in the box with all instructions, power cable etc. This is the same as you would get it in the shop, NO different.
  2. Right, putting this out there! 1996 Marshall 2555SL Slash Signature head. 100 watts, switchable to 50w. As new condition cosmetically. Comes with original covers, manuals, tags, and COA signed personally by Jim Marshall, the whole package is here making it great for collectors as well. Does have a couple of technical issues, but nothing that could be considered anything approaching serious, one checkup at marshall and it would all be fixed. These issues are... 1) OLD tubes, original tubes from 1996. They play fine but you might want to replace them nonetheless. 2) Dirty loop connections. If you patch up the loop it plays fine but without the volume fluctuates. Nothing a bit of contact cleaner wouldnt fix. 3) Input jacks a bit dodgey, have to wiggle the cable to find perfect contact. 4) The light on the power switch doesnt work, common problem with old Marshalls. As I said, all really really simple fixes. Comes with matching 4x12 slash signature cab loaded with V30's, really does sound incredible. These amps are pretty rare. You wont find another complete package like this with all the tags, manuals, and signed certificate. I'm looking for upwards of

  5. Right, painful but needs must. 1969 Gibson ES-335. This is an all original Gibson 335 from 1969. Its an orange sticker model, (as opposed to the square white stickers of the Norlin era), and it has pat no pickups. Theres no major damage to the guitar, its an a solid 9.5/10 condition. There is the usual checking to the body and the neck but there are no repairs or resprays. Theres an approximate patch of buckle rash about 1 inch by 1 inch on the back, it doesnt go through the paint (worming mostly). It comes with its original case also in good condition with all working latches. A couple of stickers remain on the case but can be easily removed. The guitar sounds absolutley fantastic, really crunchy pickups that clean up beautifully as could be expected from a 60's gibson. When I bought this I was told it was a 1966 (serial number dates it to 1966-1969) but I believe it to be a 1969 due to the knobs and positioning of the crown on the headstock, it has yet to be confirmed though! This guitar from Vintage and Rare guitars would set you back in the region of
  6. I used to love heavy metal and listen to nothing else, but nowdays, I still like some of it, but I rarely listen to it. My angsty days are over and I prefer more tuneful songs nowdays.
  7. Selling my late 60's all original (even frets in a useable condition) ES-335. Excellent condition.
  8. are you mad?!! Probably... But yeah, im not going to rush into anything, and not going to sell it for less than its worth. I just really need to get out of debt. The thought of being in my overdraft when I graduate, when I start getting interest and dont have a job yet really scares me. I dont want the bank taking away my money every month when I dont even know where my next source of income will be. When someone shows interest im going to get the guitar valued at Vintage and Rare guitars, who offer an official approved valuation service, and that will be the price I will sell at, no less, I estimate it to be around
  9. Putting this out there... Considering selling my late 60's Gibson ES-335. The label dates it to between 1966-1969 but I believe is early 1969, just before they were bought by Norlin in August. Obviously it would need to be viewed to verify everything, but its amazing. 9/10 condition, EVERYTHING original, even the frets and they still have a bit of life, original case in good condition (all the latches still work etc.) Pat No Pickups. Obviously, i'm looking to get every penny of its value, im not looking for a quick sale but it is an investment so you will see returns on what you buy it for. Please contact me at the address below if you're interested to chat more about it. mp4-23@live.com Cheers!
  10. The difference between 0.999... and 1 is 0.111...
  11. I dont understand maths and that quote means nothing to me half of 3 is 1.5 to my simple mind Dont know how I got a B at GCSE. This was in Further Maths A level we were told, half of 3 is 1.5, but 3/2 is 1, because of the rule of significant figures.
  12. You mean significant figures? I thought I would simplify it for the HCAF Dummies
  13. 3/2 is 1. Not 1.5, but 1. This is what I was actually taught by one of my maths teachers, who is a Dr of Particle Physics, you even get taught his theories if you do a doctorate in Physics, but yeah, 3/2 is 1, because you always give the answer to the same amount of decimal places. hmm.
