I love my JTM45 I had the original Marshall version but was unhappy with it even after upgrading the transformers and many of the parts. The Ceriaton kicked major ass right out of the box :cop: that is beautiful. I think I found my next amp.

mm thanks but when i was listening to the clips modded plexis had better sound to my ears yeah, i like plexis better as well. I didnt' realize you were talking about modding. If you're going to get into the world of modding then depending on what sort of mod you do, the plexi would have way more gain than a stock JCM.

Ceriatones ROCKS!!! Still not sure what to buy an JCM or an plexi... whch one growls more (more gain) A JCM would definitely have more gain than a Plexi.

I played one of those way back when I was looking for a head for my first half stack and I wasn't impressed. It was pretty much bees in a can. Crate is awful. Every single thing they produce = crap. No, i have to disagree with this. Play the VC series and the Palamino's. If you say they sound like shit, you're just wrong. That's all.

is that 300 watts??? my gosh i didn't know that could make suck so ridiculous. the 300 watt version is a totally different beast designed by Ampeg. It's actually really really good.
